First Vacation

Feburary 21-24, 2011 Rachel, John, Mia, Poppy and I took a trip down to Orlando, Florida and visited Downtown Disney and Magic Kingdom. While we were there, Rachel also got to see her first fireworks and had her first laugh!
Our next adventure to Florida will be in July and we just cannot wait till then with it being her first time at the beach!!

2 Months

How Old? 2 month

Weight? We will find out tomorrow

Clothing? 0-3/3 months

Sleep? 7-8 hours a night and cat napping through the day

Sounds? "oh" and "agoo"

Eating? 25-30 ounces a day

What I am looking forward to? Taking her to the doctor tomorrow to see how much she has gained in a month and going to Orlando, Florida next week with her Mia and Poppy.

I had to go to the dentist that morning, so instead of taking Rachel with me, I let her Poppy watch her.

Wednesday, February 9, 2011
I took Rachel to her MiMi's work and showed her off to the kindergarden teachers and some of the staff. After, we road around for about an hour since she fell asleep and once she woke up, we headed home to eat. Later that evening, we went and had family night at Mia and Poppy's house.

Around 12:45 pm, a friend of mine from high school came over to see Rachel and also gave her 3 cute new outfits that she will be wearing soon!

Friday, February 11, 2011
Rachel's Great PawPaw came over and brought me some Chik-fil-A for lunch. Unfortunately, she was asleep in her swing, but worked out great for me so I could eat. Soon after he left and finished eating, we got ready and headed to Wal-Mart to attempt to find her a Valentine outfit, but we couldn't find her one, so we found a cute purple minnie mouse one instead since we're going to Disney in about a week. I looked at her and asked "do you like this?" and with a huge grin, I then said "Ok...that means yes. We're getting it." I'm such a sucker.

Today, February 13, 2011
John is taking me out for Valentine's, so Rachel is going to be spending the day with her Mia and Poppy.

Waffle House

John and I were craving some bacon and eggs, so we decided to go to good ol' Waffle House which made this Rachel's first time going. She did well by sleeping right before we walked out the door.

Visiting Daddy's Work

Yesterday Rachel and I took lunch to John's office and visited for a little. She ended falling asleep for about 30 minutes and we really didn't have anywhere to put her except (see below)...

Once Rachel woke up, she "worked" with him for a few minutes and then it was time for her to eat.

After she ate, we left and came home and talked for a few and then I put her on the tummy time mat and she once again fell asleep for about 30-40 minutes. I'm guessing her long day at daddy's work pooped her out.
